Certificate for Bangladeshi Driver's License:

 The High Commission issues certificate to the applicants against their valid Bangladeshi Driver’s License after receiving due verification report by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), Dhaka. 

 Documents to be submitted to the High Commission:

  1. Submit duly fill in prescribed form, Diffrent_Attestation (Driving).pdf
  2. Submit one copy of the recent passport-size photograph.
  3. The original Driver's License issued by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA)
  4. Copy of the valid Bangladeshi passport.
  5. Proof of valid status in Canada.
  6. If the applicant desires to receive the service by mail, then a pre-paid express post envelope e.g., Canada post/DHL/FedEx etc. having a detailed address of the recipient must be submitted to the High Commission.

Urgent deliver within 3 business days after receiving due verification by the High Commission from BRTA, Dhaka.

Regular delivery within 21 business days after receiving due verification by the High Commission from BRTA, Dhaka.

  • The High Commission does not accept any cash or personal Cheque.
  • Bangladesh High Commission accepts payment of consular fees by debit or credit cards at the consular counter of Bangladesh High Commission, Ottawa. Consular fees may also be paid through website payment link in future.
  • Fees for consular services are also accepted by bank draft/money order/pay order/postal order to be made in-favour of "Bangladesh High Commission, Ottawa, Canada"
  • Fees are non-refundable and the rate is subject to change by authorities.
