Marriage Certificate

Required documents for Attestation of  'Marriage Certificate' for Bangladesh citizen or Bangladesh origin Canadians:

1. Submit duly fill in prescribed form, Diffrent_Attestation (MC).pdf

2. Attach one recent passport size photograph

3. The copy of the Bangladeshi marriage certificate (Prior authentication of the marriage certificate is to be done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka, Bangladesh);

4. The copy of the Canadian marriage certificate (Prior authentication of the marriage certificate is to be done by Global Affairs, Ottawa);

5. The copy of the Bangladeshi passport;

6. If the applicant desires to receive the service by mail, then a pre-paid express post envelope having a detailed address of the recipient must be submitted to the High Commission.

7. Proof of the Canadian status

8. Fees:

• The High Commission does not accept any cash or personal Cheque.
• Bangladesh High Commission accepts payment of consular fees by debit or credit cards at the consular counter of Bangladesh High Commission, Ottawa.
• Fees for consular services are also accepted by bank draft/money order/pay order/postal order made in-favour of "Bangladesh High Commission, Ottawa, Canada"
• Fees are non-refundable and rate is subject to change by authorities.
